Abstract: | The spreading codes that GPS L1C will adopt have good auto and cross correlation performance and are easy to implement in practice. On the other hands, The Weil-based codes to construct GPS L1C spreading codes have a large number of sequences, which is very advantageous to generate another group of spreading codes family for satellite navigation use. Hence, another 100 new Weil-based codes that are different from GPS L1C spreading codes are got for COMPASS B1C potential use. Spreading codes are mainly used to distinguish signals from different satellites. Especially with the increase of navigation satellites in the space, it is a very pressing problem to evaluate the compatibility of spreading codes as the power spectral overlaps seriously among GNSS. With the normal correlation calculation equation considering the Doppler shift effect, a complete compatibility analysis between a new group of Weil-based codes for COMPASS B1C use, GPS L1C spreading codes and Galileo E1 OS spreading codes is conducted. Additionally, two criteria named MEWSD and MF are introduced to evaluate the spreading codes analysis. |
