Abstract: This paper proposes a robust NCO scheme for GNSS receivers. A main feature of this scheme is that a replica signal is generated by using not only frequency but also frequency rate. So, it is possible to track the signal for short time, even there are jamming signals or signal blockage. The paper discusses a feasibility of the proposed scheme from two test runs. The first run compares the tracking and the positioning performance of the proposed NCO and a conventional NCO in a point of the accuracy. This test run is performed in normal conditions, and the experimental results show the benefits of the proposed NCO scheme. In the second run, robustness is analyzed when some satellite signals are blocked. The proposed NCO also shows better performance than the conventional NCO.
