Abstract: | The implementation and the preliminary performance assessment of a Navigation Domain (ND) GNSS signal tracking loop are presented in this paper. While the benefits of a ND tracking architecture have previously been explored through simulation, this work is based on a real implementation in a GNSS software receiver. The development of a ND tracking loop is addressed, detailing some challenging implementation considerations that are specific to such a tracking architecture. Finally, the performance of the ND tracking loop is then assessed and compared to the state of the art. |
