Abstract: | Integrity is a significant performance parameter of satellite navigation system. The GPS, Galileo and COMPASS may be applied in combination in future, which would improve and enhance the positioning accuracy and availability. Therefore, users could take full advantage of three constellations of integrity information. As different navigation systems calculate the integrity in different ways, it is important to give an appropriate combined integrity strategy of the three systems. From two aspects of integrity concept, HPL/VPL and integrity risk, this paper compares different combination of constellations. The combined strategy based on Galileo integrity risk analysis is although somewhat less intuitive, but more effective and more complete than the combined strategy based on GPS integrity.!So based on Galileo integrity concept, an integrated equation is constructed to realize the integrity risk assessment for combined constellation of GPS+Galileo+COMPASS system. Accordingly the improvement of combined positioning and integrity performance is analyzed theoretically. In addition, as for COMPASS heterogeneous constellation, the integrity parameter sensitivity analysis is discussed in detail. Concretely, the orbit accuracy change of GEO and IGSO will have much larger influence than that of MEO, and the integrity risk is more sensitive to the parameter of SISA and environmental UERE than SISMA. The integrity performance of collaborated system is better than that of no collaboration, no matter based on GPS baseline integrity concept or Galileo baseline integrity concept. However, if the SIS error of one of satellite navigation system is much worse than others, it is better not to use its integrity information. The combined integrity analysis would provide support for the future choice of combined integrity for several different navigation constellations. |
