Abstract: | This paper provides a detailed description of the laboratory and field testing and analysis performed by the 746th Test Squadron (746 TS) on the Radiosonde Replacement System (RRS) for the National Weather Service (NWS). The test objective was to characterize the horizontal velocity measurement accuracy of the RRS in the laboratory and on free-flight, high-altitude balloons. |
