Compact Dual Frequency RTK Antennas

Dmitry Tatarnikov, Andrey Astakhov, Pavel Shamatulsky

Abstract: Size reduction with GNSS RTK antennas has been considered. Anti-antenna approach in combination with artificial dielectrics in the form of thin film capacitive frames has been employed. The approach results with dual frequency antenna meeting regular RTK performance requirements and fitting almost inside a regular surveyor pole. Antenna performance characteristics are provided.
