Application of Variants of the Kalman Filter to Various Programs

M. S. Grewal and A. P. Andrews

Abstract: The variety of problems solved using the Kalman filter from its publication to the present has been considerable, and we examine here some of the factors that have, in our experience, influenced the performance of Kalman filters in those four decades. A brief summary of results, memory requirements, and discussion is given.
