Abstract: | The process of quantizing both the input signal and noise and quantizing the Doppler removing circuit rotation sine waves is considered in terms of the total quantization losses. The paper considers both the effects of quantizing the input signal plus noise and the effects of quantizing the ideal sine waves for implementing the Doppler removal (a single-sideband rotation). Quantization levels of both the input quantization and the Doppler rotation quantization assumes quantization levels of 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 bits. The resulting total quantization losses are considered and compared to the individual effects of input quantization losses and Doppler quantization losses. |
