Abstract: | This paper will briefly present the ESSP SAS Company as the EGNOS Service Provider and its role in the monitoring and analysis of EGNOS performances to ensure the compliance with respect to the requirements defined by the different user communities, and in particular for the ICAO requirements established for the use of SBAS in Civil Aviation. It will first be shown how the EGNOS performances, in terms of Availability, Continuity, Integrity and Accuracy, are defined and computed, inside the ECAC area. Then, it will be presented the daily process followed to evaluate EGNOS performances and the process triggered if any performance deviation is detected. It will be explained that the objective of such process is to understand and track the performance deviation cause and evaluate the potential solution(s) if feasible. |
