Tracking AltBOC with the ipexSR Software Receiver

Abstract: This paper describes the new features of the ipexSR which are based on a new multi mode frontend. Efficient tracking algorithms for high bandwidth signals are investigated, leading to optimized code and carrier tracking accuracies including multipath mitigation. The results for E1 MBOC and E5 AltBOC tracking and performance will be presented. The E5 AltBOC signal, nominally providing the highest accuracies, is discussed with respect to its tracking accuracies and tracking architectures.
