Abstract: In areas of signal shading, RTK positioning with GPS measurements alone may not correctly resolve the carrierphase ambiguities due to poor satellite geometry. Combined GPS and GLONASS are attractive to improve the satellite availability for RTK positioning. However, RTK-GPS/GLONASS can not fix both GPS and GLONASS carrier-phase ambiguities between receivers from different manufactures due to GLONASS interchannel bias. The purpose of this paper is to improve GLONASS positioning performance in RTK-GPS/GLONASS between different types of receivers. Tables of interchannel code biases in various receivers were obtained with a zero baseline test. We showed the improvement of fix rate and positioning accuracy of RTKGPS/ GLONASS between different types of receivers by using table of the calibrated biases and GLONASS float ambiguity solution for the aid of GPS carrier-phase ambiguity resolution.
