Abstract: | GNSS carrier phase ambiguity resolution is the key for precise relative positioning solutions. Precise GNSS-based attitude determination applications require a fast and reliable ambiguity estimation. For these applications, a frame of GNSS antennas is firmly mounted onboard the platform, at known relative positions. The full set of geometrical constraints is embedded in the algorithm, aiding the ambiguity resolution process by means of strengthening the functional model. In this contribution a method to integrally solve for the carrier phase ambiguities and attitude of the platform exploiting all the a-priori geometrical constraints is described and tested. The superior performance in terms of single-frequency, single-epoch fixing rate are demonstrated through static and dynamic tests. |
