GRAM-S Test System

Abstract:	The GPS Joint Program Office (JPO) funded Spawar Systems Center (SSC) to design and build a test system to perform functional tests of the new military GPS Receiver Application Module (GRAM-S). The GRAM-S Test System consists of a test fixture, a Control PC and software. This paper will discuss the GRAM-S initiative, and the physical interfaces of a GRAM-S followed by a description of the hardware and software of the GRAM-S Test System. The paper will also present a brief look at the functional tests performed on a GRAM-S.
