A Repeater-based Localization System with Wideband Signalling

J. Liu

Abstract: This paper proposes the concept of blind calibration of an ad hoc network of localization transmitters. It researches the feasibility of a joint estimation scheme in which both transmitters and mobile positions are unknown and jointly estimated. The paper derives the BLUE estimator of the blind calibration problem, and demonstrates that such calibration is possible through simulation and indoor experiment measurements with a repeater-based localization ted bed.
