Some Aspects of the Inverse DGPS Reference Station Application in the Polish VTS System in Bay of Gdansk

Abstract:	The paper presents a proposal of supplements to VTS with software realizing functions of DGPS in an inverse variant. It includes equipping a VTS dispatcher with own GPS reference station and possibilities of calculating ship’s position with the DGPS method. It is possible to radically improve the precision in monitoring ships in VTS.
