Abstract: The paper describes present day status of the Russian System for Differential Correction and Monitoring (SDCM). This system is being developed under the leading role of the Russian Institute of Space Device Engineering (RISDE), which is in Moscow. The work has begun in accordance with the contract with the Federal Space Agency of Russia. This contract was signed within the frames of the Federal Mission Oriented Program named “GLONASS”. The described system is being under construction since 2002, and in 2006 the part of it dedicated to integrity monitoring was put into operation. The paper describes present day SDCM composition and functions, and gives brief review of some monitoring results accumulated during 2007. The paper will also give some information on basic steps on the way to SDCM implementation.
