Abstract: Interface Specification for Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (IS-QZSS)[1] is being developed in accordance with the QZSS system design progress. The first draft IS-QZSS was released on January 22, 2007 and the second draft is available on the JAXA’s web site.[2] This paper describes brief introduction of IS-QZSS such as scope, public release policy, update process and so on as well as its contents focusing on unique features comparing with GPS IS documents.
