Abstract: It is well known that GPS receiver is very vulnerable to jamming or interference. It is reported that 10W jammer could jam L1 C/A receiver locating as far as 134km. There are many anti-jamming techniques such as spatial adaptive filtering, adaptive temporal filtering(ATF), space-time adaptive processing(STAP), power spectrum excision, Vector DLL(VDLL), and etc. The performance of each specific anti-jamming technique is reported in many literatures and its performance is often evaluated in terms of tracking thresholds not in terms of range or position error. Anti-jamming techniques could be applied to different stage of the receiver signal processing. Therefore several techniques can be combined together to provide better anti-jamming performance. In this paper, we investigate the anti-jamming performance of several well known techniques such as AFT, STAP, OFFT, and VDLL for GPS L1 C/A receiver. The integration of different techniques such as STAP and VDLL will also be investigated and their combined performance will be evaluated. The anti-jamming performance will be compared in range and position domain not in tracking domain in order to see the side effect of the beamforming by STAP. GPS and jamming signals are generated and applied to software GPS receiver. The computational and hardware requirements are also analyzed. Various combinations of anti-jamming techniques and adaptation algorithms(OPM, ATF, OFFT, etc) are evaluated and analyzed in various JSR environments in simulation. For the IF signal level simulation, user dynamic profile generation module, array GNSS/Jamming signal generation module, anti-jamming processing module, and GNSS receiver processing module are implemented in matlab code.
