Abstract: In this paper we present different measurement evaluations of the first Galileo* test satellite GIOVE-A and GPS. The performance of the measured navigation signals is evaluated according to the compliance with theoretical expectations. Different tracking modi and receiver configurations are analysed with regard to their tracking performance. The data is recorded with the BayNavTech Signal Evaluation Facility (BaySEF) which is a high performance wideband and flexible GNSS receiver and signal performance evaluation platform.
