Abstract: | With the continuous, real-time, high-accurate GPS measurement, dynamic monitoring in the No.2 Bridge on Changjiang (Yangtze) River in Wuhan was performed. There are two stations equipped with Trimble 5700 receivers. One is the reference station; the other is the monitoring station in this GPS measurement. Data was processed with the kinematic positioning software (KINPOS). The results after the baseline processing included the standard deviation óx= ±11.1mm (in x direction), óy= ±15.2mm (in y direction), and óh= ±7.5mm (in the vertical direction). The vibration characteristics in the middle span (400m) of cable-stayed bridge were obtained by frequency spectrum analysis approach, and the bridge vibration frequency obtained by the method is 0.2666 Hz, which is approximate to that (0.2558Hz ) of the theory calculation--LEM (Limited Elements Method) and accelerometer measurement. The results have shown that suitable data processing method and frequency analysis technology can provide the feasible dynamic characteristics for bridges. Based on the above work in Wuhan, further work has been done in Ba Yi Bridge, Nanchang, Jiangxi province for the purpose of monitoring the bridge deformation, and designing a data processing and analysis system. The initial results were included in the paper. |
