Abstract: | During the operational approval of the Ground Based Augmentation System (GBAS) the accuracy of the ground subsystem has to be evaluated. This assessment can be accomplished with the B-value Analysis and the CMC analysis. Both methodologies are compared based on static data of two measurement campaigns in Frankfurt / Main under usage of a GBAS prototype installation. Special emphasis lays on the different processing options of the Code minus Carrier (CMC) analysis. The CMC analysis furthermore is used to estimate the multipath environment of the ground station. As a result of the comparison the advantages and disadvantages of both methodologies together with their area of application are outlined. |
