Abstract: In fiscal year 2006, The MITRE Corporation’s Center for Advanced Aviation System Development was tasked by the Federal Aviation Administration’s Air Traffic Control Spectrum Engineering Services Office to assess the level of anticipated interference within the United States to the Galileo E5b signal from emitters operating at/near its center frequency of 1207.14 MHz. This paper documents the results of this assessment.
