Abstract: | A model for GPS measurements (pseudo range) based on time series statistic (ARIMA) is presented. The model is based on data collected by a Trimble differential GPS receiver. The best fitting model was obtained after testing different models. The final model shows a square law behavior and a residue with a Gaussian like shap. This result is confirmed by the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The independence is tested finding the auto-comelation function, and it is shown that within the confidence interval the independence hypothesis is confirmed (Durbin-Watson test). |
