Russian System for Differential Correction and Monitoring: A Concept and Results of the First Phase of Development

Abstract: The paper describes the basic concept of the Russian System for Differential Correction and Monitoring (SDCM). This system is now under development. It must become a Space Based Augmentation System for GLONASS and GPS in a way similar to WAAS and EGNOS. The coverage of the system is the territory of the Russian Federation. The paper describes the composition of the system and expected performance level. The results of the first phase of development are presented.
