Abstract: | The GR-PosTer project started in September 2005 with the target to design and prototype a positioning receiver that would be on the market in volume waiting for the Galileo signal, ie a Galileo-Ready Positioning Terminal, in order that the uptake of Galileo was not delayed by the traditional long time to market of new designs, especially in the automotive segment. To minimise the delay in all parts of the chain, equipment manufacturers are included in the project, and the final demonstrations are at the application level in automotive and handheld respectively. |
