Abstract: | Since the beginning of satellite navigation, receiver designers have invested a lot of time and resources to investigate new architectures and algorithms. The lack of available tools to accelerate these developments and the difficulties to render realistic simulation conditions has a negative impact on time-to-market and reliability. This paper describes a new toolbox for GNSS Receiver Development that enables the user to configure not only the receiver under development but also the satellite constellation in order to generate diverse simulation scenarios and enhance validation coverage. Finally, the simulation results of the toolbox for several designed architectures have been confirmed with the use of a hardware prototype test platform developed for this purpose. |
