The iSuite MP, a True MultiPlatform Development Environment

Abstract:	The iSuiteTM MP is a concept of having the same software for multiple hardware platforms with the same pincompatible package. These multiplatform receivers can be utilized in applications with different performance demands but the same design requirements. The same form factor in different platforms with a common development environment offers the customer an outstanding opportunity to use the same overall application design with platform-specific features and performance parameters: iSuiteTM MP allows a customer to develop code without being tied to a single GPS baseband platform. The iSys operating system, the navigation engine, and the GPS interface are fully portable: only a recompilation is necessary to be able to move the application to another platform and make the software reusable. This concept allows for cost-efficient and time-saving customer application design.
