Abstract: | This paper describes a framework for the construction of GPS situational awareness (SA) by taking an end-to-end, mission-oriented approach that focuses on the desired effects of GPS SA. We illustrate the utility of GPS SA through the use of several example mission areas. This approach illustrates the need for the handful of attributes that, we posit, are vital for the realization of SA that is useful to the warfighter. |
