Abstract: A method that combines the technique of wavelet transform and correlation analysis between GPS phase observation time series is presented to identify and remove GPS multipath signals in GPS phase observations in applications such as structural deformation monitoring. Tests have shown that the proposed method is effective in identifying GPS multipath signals both when the GPS receiver is stationary and in motion. The GPS measurement accuracy can therefore be significantly improved when the method is applied.
