Review of GLONASS System Characteristics

P. Daly

Abstract: Both GPS and GLONASS are capable of providing the civil community with high-precision position-fixes and/or timing references on a continuous, worldwide basis. Integration of the two independent satnav facilities which are expected to become operational towards the end of 1992, is of great interest to the international civil community. Events during the current year which have had an influence on progress towards joint operation are discussed.
