Abstract: | Sercel has been involved in the development of differential navigation techniques for many years, and has taken advantage of this large experience to design complete “turn key” differential GPS systems. The paper first reviews the main technical questions to be solved in the design of such systems, then briefly presents the SERCEL Long-Range differential GPS station with recent examples of use and results. The newly introduced Portable Differential system is described in more details, and test results showing sub-metric accuracies are given. |
