Abstract: | A differential combination of GPS and GLONASS provides highest accuracy and reliability in both, differential position as well as velocity determination. Developments for the optimal integration of both systems and results of experiments are described. The GLONASS hardware part is based on two different receiver types: (1) The GLONASS ASN-16 and (2) the SKIPPER, which are slow sequencing C/A-code single channel single frequency receivers. Magnavox 4200 D GPS receivers are used for the combination. The processing software TOPAS was prepared to allow GLONASS data processing as well as hybrid GLONASWGPS data processing. |
