Litton's LN-93G: The Production Embedded GPS/Inertial System

Abstract: Litton has recently received a contract to provide an embedded GPS/INS system for a tactical aircraft. This system combines the proven, large production base LN-93 (CN-1656, (X-1674) Ring Laser Gyro INU with the next-generation Collins GPS receiver. This contract is the fmt production contract for a full, military qualified, embedded GPS/LNS. This paper describes the equipment architecture, aircraft interfaces and contractual perfor- mance requirements.
