The FAA implemented 196 Loran monitors 180
miles apart within the contiguous United States (CO-
NUS) ‘and Alaska to gather ‘and maintain low frequency
Loran data in a national resource database. The Nation-
al Field Office for Loran Data Support @FOLDS)
maintains the database integrity by requiring incoming
