GPS for Precision Hydrographies - On Site Error Detection

Abstract:	This paper describes genesis of an automated hydrographic system for use by a consulting civil engineering firm. Because of difficulties encountered with the software development the system has not yet completed its current test voyage. The emphasis of this paper will therefore be upon the genesis and lessons gained in the development process.
