Realization of Real-Time DGPS Receiver Mix- A Key for Operational Precision Navigation

Gunter Kasties, Yunfei Han, Wolfgang Lechner

Abstract: For precision navigation a large number of Differential GNSS reference stations will arise all around the world in the near future. In addition to this, an unlimited number of DGNSS users (probably millions!) will operate with the DGNSS signal transmitted by these reference stations. Therefore the real-time interoparability of DGNSS receivers and DGNSS reference stations produced by different manufacturers is an unalterable necessity. The paper identifies some of the operational problems of mixing GNSS receivers in real-time differential operations, describes a concept for a suitable solution and presents results of static and dynamic DGPS tests.
