Mission Effectiveness Analysis for AIWS GPS/Inertial Navigation Suite

Abstract:	The NCCOSC RDTBE Division Det;dmcnt (NRaD) 11;~~ a suite of simul;~[ion and laboratory IOOIS which are used to support weapon mission effectiveness analysis. Outputs of these tools cm be tied direclly into mission effectiveness c:tlcul:ltions in the Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manu;tl (JMEMS) for specific weapon/warhead analysts. Midcourse and terminal guidance issues and trades are discussed, and several are examined with the NR,aD tools for the AIWS (now JSOW). Specifically, for AIWS DEMIVAL, midcourse guid‘ance accuracies were examined using this tool set. Results of these simulations are retlected in the Guidance Electronics Unit (GEU) chosen for the b:lseline JSOW, and in aircraft integration requirements.
