Abstract: | This paper describes the Automatic Dependent Surveillance (ADS) trials being conducted in Brazil using the INMARSAT Data 1 satellite link. The trials include a differential experiment using the Global Positioning System (GPS) which is intended to demonstrate the potential use of ADS / DGPS for the approach, landing and departure operations. The system configuration is described and some preliminary results are presented. |
