Position and Orientation System (POS) for Land, Sea and Airborne Survey Applications

Abstract:	This paper describes the position and orientation system (POS) developed by Applied Analytics Corporation that is designed for land, marine and airborne survey applications. The POS is an excellent example of conversion of military integrated navigation technology to meet commercial applications. This paper includes a survey of commercial and military applications of integrated navigation technology, and describes how the POS addresses them.
