Abstract: | The use of the GPS service for the on-board determination of both orbit position and spacecraft attitude of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites is something becoming more and more promising. The paper describes the activities that LABEN, an Alenia Finmeccanica Company, and Space Systems/Loral are carrying out for the design and qualification of a GPS receiver (GPS TensorTM ) for space applications. |
