FAA’s Plan for the Future Use of GPS

Abstract: This paper defines FAA’s plan for the future use of GPS, which includes FAA’s operational concept for using the new GPS ARNS/RNSS signal at 1176.45 MHz. The interference criteria and safety levels that are required to support civil aviation safety-of-life operations are also included in this plan.
