RTK/DGPS Reference Network for Three City Area: Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot (Poland)

Abstract:	The present status of the Local Area Augmentation Sys-tems for satellite navigation and precise positioning in Poland and their developments for future integration with European GNSS-1 EGNOS system are presented. The main characteristics of the Three City Area DGPS/RTK reference station network, its architecture and system per-formance are given. Local Network performance objec-tives, such as aviation, land and marine navigation, sur-veillance, positioning and guidance as well as geodesy and surveying DGPS/RTK applications for Land Infor-mation Systems (LIS) and Geographic Information Sys-tems (GIS) are discussed. Future development and proc-ess of integration of GPS with GLONASS and next with EGNOS system are also proposed.
