Abstract: In this paper, we examine the applicablilty of the H~ filter for GPS positioning, specially for a recursive estimation al-gorithm for static carrier phase differential positioning. Af-ter reviewing the H@ filter, we show several relations be-tween the Hm and the Kalman filters so that present the dif-ference of the filters’ performance. Finally, we present the experimental results of the GPS positioning by applying the Hm and the Kalman filters for using real receiver data which were obtained at two static points.
