Abstract: Most characteristics of the GLONASS signal are similar to those of GPS. In addition GLONASS P-code, unlike GPS P-code, is available to civil users; it is thus of great interest to take best advantage of it. GLONASS P-code pseudo-range measurements are considerably more pre-cise than comparable GPS or GLONASS C/A-code meas-urements. In this paper we report briefly on the first cali-bration of GLONASS time receivers located around the world and we describe some tests of continental and in-tercontinental time transfer using GLONASS P-code.
