A Report on the Third Meeting of the GLONASS-GPS Interoperability Working Group

Pratap Misra, James A. Slater

Abstract: The ION GLONASS-GPS Interoperability Working Group (G-GIWG) was organized two years ago to provide a public forum for interoperability issues related to GLONASS and GPS and to provide some impetus for resolving some of these issues. In support of this, the ION created a web site to facilitate communications among participants and has sponsored a working group meeting at each of the last two International Meetings of the Satellite Division. ION has also arranged for several Russians involved in the technical and operational aspects of GLONASS to participate in these meetings.
