Abstract: | In this paper, the combined 12/6 channel GPS/GLONASS receiver module ASN-22 developed in the frame of a cooperation between the Daimler-Benz Aerospace (DASA) Navigation and Flight Guidance Systems (NFS) company in Ulm, Germany, and the Russian Institute of Radionavigation and Time (RIRT) in St. Petersburg, Russia, is introduced. First of all the technical characteristics and the receiver module architecture are overviewed. Afterwards the top-level structure of the ASN-22 functional software developed in compliance to RTCA DO-178B, level B, is presented. Finally some first results of the receiver performance MOPS testing under particular consideration of the ASN-22 RAIM functionality in both GPS only and combined GPS/GLONASS mode are presented. |
