Abstract: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has developed the National Satellite Test Bed (NSTB) to develop and test concepts and algorithms for wide area augmentation of GPS. The FAA supports this research, in part, through contracts with Stanford Telecommunications, Inc., and through grants with Stanford University. This paper describes the successful flight tests of NSTB Version 1, developed by Stanford Telecommunications, and also describes the latest test results from Stanford University.
