A Spectral Prony Method for Additive Com-ponent with Application to GPS Pseudo-Range Estimation

Chih-Yeh Daniel King

Abstract: A novel algorithm of the GPS pseudo-range estimation is well modeled and analyzed. Designed measuring matrix is based on the modified Wiener-Kolmogorov filter working with forward estimation and backward restoration. It is also possible to do estimation in real time. It is manipulated in an additively digital filter inside the GPS receiver, by using the Wiener-Kolmogorov filter and the pseudo-deterministic models. We are aware it is valid over a short time interval, and it is used to accurately reconstruct the corresponding coordinate sequences. Furthermore, evaluations of error performance, which due to the pseudo-range calculation, will be presented after all. Another subjective is related to the time-delay predication, which dues to RF signal propagating through multi-routing in the DGPS/GPS application. Thus the related cycle-slip effects will also be carefully handled to upgrade the system accuracy in deeded. Key Words: GPS, Wiener-Kolmogorov Filter, Spectral Prony Algorithm, Pre-whitening Filter.
