Abstract: | The GPS ARCHITECTTM is a development system specifically designed for GPS system design where a GPS receiver needs to be embedded within an application. It builds on mature and well-chosen technology, both in the hardware used for the GPS chipset, and in the software. This paper presents an overview of the GPS ARCHITECTTM, a 12 channel parallel tracking GPS Receiver Development System using the ARM RISC processor. The main features of the product are described, as is the ARM Development Toolkit used for developing any application software hosted on the platform. Since GPS Architect is supplied with all GPS software in both source and executable, an overview of the task structure of the software is given. |
