Abstract: This paper explores the perfo- thdcanbe achievdfromanullsteeringarrayante~usingbotha subgraiieti-search power minimizhn tecbniq~ as well asanLA4s-&latedpower . ’ “Illnethod. Consideration is given to expected performarxz of tk algodms in both static arxi dynamic environments. A simpk, subgradknt-based mlling algorithm is presented with simuldon results indicating tk ability of the algorithm to achieve a known optimal solution under static colulitions. subseqllently, tlE LMS-related approach to rulling via power minimization is formulated. Simulation results employing tk LMS- relatedtechniqueinastaticgeumtryarepresededand compared withtk subgradientsearchmtldadtk optimal solutions. The paper then explores the perfo-e of both algorithms in a dynamic situation where the array rapidly changes its orientation with respect to the interference.
